Physical Description and Identification: The Blue-throated barbet, scientifically known as Psilopogon asiaticus, is a member of the Asian barbet family, Megalaimidae. This bird is a medium-sized bird, typically measuring between 20 to 25 cm in length and weighing around 60 to 100 grams.
