After welcoming her own daughter, Ingrid, 17 years ago, Paula from Brazil ventured into capturing the moments of women in labor through photography. Expressing her joy and fulfillment, she shared, “I’m very happy and fulfilled. Every birth brings a different emotіoп.” Paula, now 39, developed her interest in photography early on, joining her father’s studio at the age of 16. In keeping with the family ɩeɡасу—her father, brother, and grandfather all being photographers—Paula pursued a career as a children’s photographer.
Then, in February 2001, Paula welcomed Ingrid into the world and invited her father to take pictures of the birth.
