The Rufous-crowned Tanager, also known as the Burnished-buff Tanager (Tangara cayana), is a widely distributed bird ѕрeсіeѕ in the Thraupidae family, native to South America.

Distribution

It may be found in the northeast of Argentina, the northern Guianas, most of Venezuela, east-central Colombia, and the area around the Amazon River mouth in Brazil. In Bolivia and Peru, it also happens on a very small scale. It may be found in almost any semi-open environment with trees, even areas that have been changed by humans like parks, gardens, and plantations.
